The work I have enclosed in my portfolio is a variety of different mediums which I have worked in during my time studying as an Art A level student. Whilst some of the work is based on my assessments set in school, I have also presented pieces which I have produced outside of school such as my personal photography, life drawings, and work which I have chosen to do out of passion in my spare time. I have demonstrated my skill in drawing, painting and 3d work as well as my own independent photography. I hope you can appreciate my work, as I put a lot of my time and effort into it, it portrays me and my loves. Whilst our society is growing rapidly, graphics is becoming more and more relevant to our every day lives. I want to produce visually tantalising work which exceeds normality and really makes people stop and think. I believe that this course will truly let me exceed my potential. I am truly in love with design, the whole aspect of it fascinates me and because of my passion for the subject I feel that I can achieve highly in the area. I have been incredibly lucky to be able to grow up in London and I find that it has influenced me highly to creating my own style because of the amount of different inspirations which I encounter every day, for example the structure of buildings and advertisements. In the pat year I feel that I have matured independently with both my art and my personality. I have begun to use the medium of paint much more widely in my work and the influence of graphics and design, which you can see in my pieces. I am a hard working and passionate student with a lot of determination and I feel that I will truly for fill the potential of this course giving it my up most dedication. I have a great admiration of graphic designers as they are centred in the growth of the world, and I hopefully one day can be part of this.
